שְׁאוֹלc. (b. h.) nether world, grave, depth. Erub.54a (fr. Ben Sira) שאין בש׳ תענוגוכ׳ for there is no pleasure in the grave, and death knows no tarrying. Ib. ואם תאמר … בש׳ מי יודה לך Ms. M.
